The Earth Institute's Center for Research on Environmental Decisions (CRED) presents environmental sociologist, Thomas Dietz, Professor of Environmental Science and Policy, Professor of Sociology, and Assistant Vice President for Research and Graduate Study at Michigan State University.

Professor Dietz will present an overview of his research. He studies human dimensions of global environmental change, environmental values, and valuation, evolutionary theory and the interplay of science, deliberation and democracy.
